Welcome to PawPrints. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our professional pet waste removal and yard sanitation services across Orange County, California. By scheduling a service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following agreement designed to ensure a clean, healthy outdoor environment for your family and pets.
1. Introduction and Service Agreement: PawPrints provides professional pet waste removal and yard cleanup services for residential properties in Orange County, California. Our services include the removal and disposal of pet waste from outdoor spaces. PawPrints does not provide lawn mowing, landscaping, or any services beyond pet waste removal and yard deodorizing unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
2. User Responsibilities: Homeowners are responsible for providing clear access to the service area. Gates must be unlocked or access codes provided. Pet waste must be accessible and not hidden by deep snow or overgrown vegetation.
3. Payment and Billing: Payment is due at the time of service unless a recurring billing arrangement has been established. PawPrints accepts payment via credit card, debit card, and other approved digital payment methods. Recurring service clients will be billed automatically on the agreed schedule. Late payments may result in a pause or cancellation of scheduled services.
4. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Refunds for prepaid services are issued on a pro-rata basis for remaining unperformed services.
5. Access to Property: If our technician cannot access your yard due to locked gates or other obstructions, the full service fee may be charged for the attempted visit.
6. Health and Safety: We prioritize your family's health by following strict sanitation protocols and using pet-safe, environmentally friendly disinfectants.
7. Pets on Property: For the safety of both our staff and your pets, all animals must be secured indoors or in a separate area of the property during service. Clients must disclose the presence of aggressive or reactive animals prior to the start of service. PawPrints reserves the right to skip or cancel service without refund if an animal poses a safety risk to our staff.
8. Service Limitations: Extreme weather or dangerous conditions may delay service. We will make every effort to reschedule as soon as it is safe to do so. PawPrints reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for reasons including but not limited to unsafe working conditions, aggressive animals, inaccessible property, non-payment, or disrespectful treatment of our staff.
9. Liability and Indemnity: PawPrints is not responsible for pre-existing damage to fences, gates, landscaping, or any other property. PawPrints is not liable for the escape of pets due to pre-existing fence damage, improper latching by the client, or any condition outside of our control. Clients are responsible for disclosing any known property hazards prior to service. PawPrints carries general liability insurance and takes reasonable precautions to protect your property during every visit.
10. Changes to Service: We reserve the right to modify service terms or pricing with 30 days' notice provided to the customer's registered email.
11. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with jurisdiction for all disputes in Orange County.

User Responsibilities
- Access to Property: Homeowners must ensure that service gates are unlocked or a key/code is provided on the scheduled service day. If we cannot access the yard, the service will be skipped and billed at the regular rate.
- Pet Containment: For the safety of our staff and your pets, please keep all dogs inside or safely contained during the service window. While we love dogs, some may become protective of their territory when a stranger enters the yard.
- Yard Maintenance: Please ensure that grass is kept at a reasonable height. Overgrown grass makes it difficult to locate waste effectively, and we cannot guarantee a thorough cleaning if the lawn is not maintained.
- Aggressive Behavior: If a dog shows aggression and we feel unsafe entering the yard, we reserve the right to skip service for that day to ensure the health and safety of our technicians.
- Waste Debris: The user is responsible for ensuring the yard is free of significant non-organic debris (toys, garden tools, construction materials) that could obstruct our cleaning process.
Payment, Billing & Cancellations
Payment and Billing
Payments for recurring services are processed automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle. We accept all major credit cards and digital payment methods specified at signup. Invoices will be sent electronically to the email address on file. Please ensure your payment information is kept current to avoid any disruption in service.
Cancellations & Refunds
We understand plans change. For recurring services, we require 48 hours' notice for cancellations or modifications to avoid service charges. One-time cleanups require 72 hours' notice. Refunds are generally not provided once service has been rendered; however, if you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 24 hours so we can make it right. Credits for future services may be issued at our discretion for timely cancellations.
Limitation of Liability
PAWPRINTS AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OUR SERVICES. While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your property, we are not responsible for any damage to landscaping, lawn hardware, or fences that may occur during the normal course of our sanitation duties.
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold PawPrints harmless against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from pets on the property or hazardous conditions not disclosed by the homeowner. WE DO NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR HEALTH ISSUES OR VETERINARY COSTS relating to waste-borne illnesses if the customer has failed to maintain their yard between our professional service visits.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, specifically within the jurisdiction of Orange County. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Orange County, California.
